August 2019 Designer Picks

The year is over half way through and we are busier than ever! Below are a few items we've recently seen that are reminding us of the sunshine and good times that the Summer season seems to bring.

ANGOLO MOSAIC by Mir Mosaic

We are always on the search for unique mosaics that provide that perfect "Wow" factor. This mosaic tile is a beautiful modern rendition of a traditional scale pattern in white paper marble with a pop of brass. This tile would be a wonderful choice as a backdrop of a main focal point, or be the main feature itself.

LINDA SCHOENER, Principal Designer

BARNUM T-REX FIGURINE by Jay Strongwater

Possibly named after the American paleontologist that found the first set of T-Rex remains, this figurine is anything but a fossil. Jay's iconic use of crystals and enamel makes this limited edition a statement piece that glamorizes history.

BRENT LITTLEFIELD, Interior Designer

AIRFLOW CHAIR by Caracole

This 21st Century rendition of a klismos chair combines a variety of materials to create a versatile piece of furniture. The golden bronze and eucalyptus wood frame provide the perfect structure for the espresso chenille cushions. Add this chair to your entertainment space or your bedroom; either way, it is a wonderful chair to sit and relax a while.

DANA PAYNE, Interior Designer

DINNERWARE by Michael Aram

Michael Aram is well-known for his artistic styling of metal, but who knew it would transfer so wonderfully into dinnerware. Most of his collections have a coordinating dinnerware set, with the added bonus that each collection pairs well with each other. Shown in our picture are the Cast Iron and Black Orchid collections intermingling beautifully.

ROBYN BRIDGMAN, Interior Designer

MINA PENDANTS by Tech Lighting

Sculptural Lighting with a minimal flair adds interest to any space. Hidden led lighting in the metal socket casts a beautiful glow through the art-glass-like crystal. Custom configurations of three metal sockets and eight cord colors open the spectrum of design possibilities.
